2 Corinthians Chapter 1 Verses 18 – 20

• (Jesus is the “yes” of God to us!) ALL of the promises of God, all of them, are not through Christ, with Christ, by Christ, from Christ…you need to understand this, they are IN Christ! 2 Timothy 2:13 says, “If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” God the Father and God the Son are One…and so for God the Father to say no to any request of God the Son, He would have to deny Himself. So, what does that mean? God the Father will never, has never, and never does say no to God the Son.
• All of the answers of God to Jesus are always “Yes!” Even the request of the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus prayed, “Let this cup pass…,” a request…but then the unity and heart of God manifested, “Nevertheless, not My will by Your will be done.” And God the Father answered God the Son and Jesus was crucified for the sins of the world. So, what does all of that mean? It’s revelatory, that we find the affirmation of God and affirmation from God in Jesus Christ…this is a huge part of just simply seeking Jesus…
• All of the promises of God are delivered in the package of living in oneness with Jesus Christ. Jesus is the “yes” of God to us. Why? Because God cannot deny Himself, and all of the promises of God, in Him, in Jesus…are YES! Like, everything you order comes in an Amazon Prime box…well this is Jesus Prime! HA!
• Look at John 17:20-23…Jesus revealed this to us…praying that night in the Upper Room after Judas had already left, He said, “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” The secret of receiving every blessed promise of God is to place yourself in the position where no is not an option.
• I am not talking about naming it and claiming it…I am talking about being complete and whole in your heart of hearts. When you read passages of comfort and passages of hope and passages of God’s promised presence and His promised guidance and His promised victory…how is it that I can claim those promises and walk in them if I am not willing to even trust God where I’m at!?
• There’s a level of obviosity that should be here. If you want God’s results then you must do things God’s way. Christians, don’t spend your lives learning that God’s ways and God’s results are better…learn them and then walk! Here are a couple of dumb examples…I go to the fridge at work, it’s a community fridge…and most people bring you know, salads and maybe those lean microwave lunches…but there once was the tupperware filled with these huge Italian sausages…first thing that came to my mind, “That guy ain’t got abs!” HA! You see, you can’t eat that and expect to have low body fat…well people live like this…apart from the Lord and expect their joy to be full…come on! There’s a level of obviosity there…
• Another perhaps dumb example. If April doesn’t like the cologne I’m wearing then I never wear it again. Not rocket science If she likes the smell then I wear it all the time. Christians, that’s a good principle to put in place in your life! If you have a relationship with God and that cologne of attitude you have, that cologne of that thing you’re doing is not pleasant to the Lord…then think about it…if you continue to spray it on then what you’re saying is, “keep your distance, Lord!” On the other hand, if it’s April’s favorite cologne and I am wearing it, what it she going to do…draw near and that’s what I’m after! HOLLER if ya heard! HA!!
• If you are seeking the Lord, serving Jesus, then you can put the rest in auto-drive…put your expectancy of God’s faithfulness in auto-pilot…God will clear the path and He will show Himself faithful. But if you are living apart from Jesus Christ and defying the Spirit of God in your life then man there is a certainty of disaster ahead…and when you wreck, as so many do, don’t blame God! He has not denied you, you have denied Him! How can I be so sure, because in Jesus that is where the promises of God are always yes and always amen and always to the glory of God through us…
• Why is that? One more level to this to understand…BOSS LEVEL!! HA!  If you look at all of the promises of God…all of the promises laid out in the Old Testament, they all have an “if” statement attached to them. Let me give you one example. Proverbs 2:1-5…, “My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.”
• The Old Testament is full of these conditional promises of God and yes of course the conditions are still set…only now the condition is IF you receive Jesus Christ, if you trust in Him, if you follow Him, if you seek Him…all things wrapped up in the Person of Jesus. Jesus has fulfilled all of the “ifs” in the place of us to that we can receive all of the promises of God. Last thing I’ll say on this…because once you learn something like this, every passage of scripture changes just a little bit in your understanding. Things become a bit clearer and one is Colossians 1:26-28.
• “The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you (THAT right there is the revelation of the riches of God’s glory…the delivery of every promise of God), the hope of glory. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” Where is the person made complete, made whole in their heart of hearts...? At the counter cashing in the winning lottery ticket!? At the altar marrying the person of their dreams? At the office hearing that you got the promotion? No! At Chik-Fil-A getting a chicken sandwich on a Sunday…maybe! HA! Only in Jesus! Nothing in this world satisfies…
• I was at the airport once and I overheard this very senior gentleman talking on the phone and he said, “In my entire career, I only passed on one sales call…” and I thought, how sad…I don’t want that to be my legacy. I want to say I passed on many sales calls for my family, for ministry…it really affected me when I experienced that…I read this this week and it so rang with me…, “If you are a giver, learn your limits, because takers don’t have any…” Give yourself to this world and meet the ultimate taker…but Jesus, He is the limitless ultimate Giver…give yourself to Him and find the mystery that God has hidden in Jesus Christ…that we are made complete, made whole, presented to God in perfection and the recipient of every one of His promises…IN Christ.

2 Corinthians Chapter 1 Verses 21 - 22

• Four things that God has done for me that I cannot and could not do for myself. One, He has established me in Christ. Made me firm. Put me there and super glued me in place as a citizen of heaven. He has anointed me and you…consecrated us…furnishes the necessary power for the administration of heaven on earth…delivered the giftings of the Holy Spirit! He has sealed The seal of ownership and the action of closure for good. And He has given to me and to us the Spirit in our hearts to stand with me through every moment reminding me of what God has done. Paul calls that the guarantee. What’s that mean? I already have the title to my mobile home in heaven, baby!!
• The earnest money down-payment of eternal life for every citizen of heaven…the seal of God Himself which no man, woman, sin or mistake has the power to break because the seal was made by God Himself and is God Himself…
• This seal speaks of In those times there were no baggage claims and suitcase stickers. The owner would place a seal on what was theirs and they would use that seal to pick it up at the destination…God has set His seal on you, Christian! And the presence of the Holy Spirit in your heart, mind and life should be a constant reminder of the guarantee of salvation, forgiveness and eternal life secured for you by Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians Chapter 1 Verses 23 – 24

• Who has dominion over your faith? You do…Paul doesn’t claim to call the shots in the lives of the people…Paul calls the shots in his own life and his job then is to look…labor for the joy and faith of others. To some that may feel like we are trying to have dominion over their faith…tell them what to do, maybe even how to think…but it’s not about being the boss…it’s about leading, taking, sometimes pushing folks towards Christ…that they may be able to stand.
• Why? Because that’s the temple now. The tabernacle now. That’s the meeting place of God and man…that’s where the promises of God are all changed from “if” to “yes!” Where you and I are made complete and whole as people…when we take our journey through this life with Jesus as Savior, Friend and faithful Lord…when you live by faith in Him alone…in Him, filled with joy, that’s where we stand.

2 Cor. Capítulo 1 Versos 18-20

• (Jesús es el “Si” de Dios a nosotros) TODOAS las promesas de Dios, todas ellas, no son a través de Cristo, ni con Cristo, o por Cristo, o de Cristo… tú necesitas comprender esto, que estas promesas están EN CRISTO! 2 Timoteo 2:13 dice “si somos infieles, él permanece fiel, porque no puede negarse a sí mismo. Dios El Padre y Dios el Hijo son UNO… de modo para Dios EL Padre decir No a una petición Dios Hijo, Se estaría El negando a si mismo. ¿Qué significa esto? Dios el Padre nunca dirá No, nunca lo ha hecho, y nunca dice no a Dios el Hijo.
• ¡Todas las Respuestas de Dos a Jesús son siempre “Si!” Aun la respuesta del jardín de Getsemaní. Jesús oro diciendo, “Deja que esta copa pase…,” una petición… pero entonces la unidad y el corazón de Dios se manifestaron, “Padre, si quieres, pasa de mí esta copa; pero no se haga mi voluntad, sino la tuya.” Y Dios el Padre contesto a Dios el Hijo y Jesús fue Crucificado por los pecados del Mundo. ¿Qué significa todo esto? Es revelador, que nosotros podemos encontrar afirmación de Dios y afirmación de Dios en Cristo Jesús… y esto es la parte magnifica de simplemente buscar de Jesús.
• Todas las promesas de Dios son entregadas en el paquete de vivir en unidad con Cristo Jesús. Jesús es el “Si” de Dios hacia nosotros. ¿Por qué? Por que Dios no se puede negar ASI MISMO, y todas las promesas de Dios, en EL, en Jesús… son “SI”, como todo lo que ordenas en Amazon Prime llega en caja… pues bien esto es Jesús Prime!
• Observen Juan 17:20-23…Jesús nos revelo esto a nosotros…orando aquella noche en aquel Aposento Alto después de que Judas ya se había ido, El dijo, “Pero no ruego solamente por estos, sino también por los que han de creer en Mí por la palabra de ellos,²¹ para que todos sean uno; como Tú, Padre, en Mi y Yo en Ti, que también ellos sean UNO en Nosotros, para que el mundo crea que Tú Me enviaste.  Yo les he dado la gloria que Me diste, para que sean UNO, así como Nosotros somos UNO. Yo en ellos y Tu en Mí, para que sean perfectos en unidad, para que el mundo conozca que Tú Me enviaste, y que los has amado a ellos como también a Mi Me has amado. El Secreto de recibir todas bendita promesa de Dios es que te coloques en la posición donde NO, no es una opción.
• Yo no estoy hablando de Proclamarlo y Reclamarlo…estoy hablando de estar, de ser completo en lo más profundo de tu Corazón. Cuando lees pasajes de consuelo y pasajes de esperanza, y de promesas de la presencia de Dios, y Su promesa de guianza, y Su promesa de Victoria… como es que puedo yo decir esas promesas, y como puedo caminar en ellas, si no estoy dispuesto ni si quiera a confiar en Dios en donde me encuentro ahora?!
• Hay un nivel de “obviamente” que debes de encontrar aquí. Si quieres los resultados de Dios entonces debes hacer las cosas a la manera de Dios.

¡Cristianos, no pasen sus vidas aprendiendo que la manera de Dios y los resultados de Dios son mejor… pero apréndelos y camina en ellos! Y aquí hay un par de ejemplos… voy a la hielera de mi trabajo, que es una hielera para todos, … y la mayoría de las personas traen, sus ensaladas, y a veces sus comidas de almuerzo de micro ondas … pero una vez había un contenedor lleno de Salchichas Italianas, y lo primero que vino a mi mente fue… “él no tiene músculos ABS” Ja, ja! ¡¡No es posible que comas eso y esperar que tengas un cuerpo bajo en grasas…pues bien la gente vive así…apartados del Señor y esperar que su gozo sea satisfecho…por favor!! … hay un nivel de “obviamente” ahí.

• Otro quizás ejemplo tonto. Si a April no le gusta la Colonia que uso, entonces nunca la vuelvo a usar. No hay que operar un cohete de Ciencia aquí. Y si a ella le gusta como huele mi colonia entonces la uso todo el tiempo. Si tienes una relación con Dios, y esa actitud de Colonia que estas usando, ese aroma de Colonia de lo que estás haciendo no es placentero para el Señor… piensa en esto…si continúas usándola, poniéndotela, haciendo eso que es de mal aroma hacia Dios, entonces lo que estás diciendo “Mantén tu distancia de Mi Señor”. Pero, por otro lado, si es la colonia favorita de April y la estoy usando, que es lo que ella va a hacer…ella se acercara a mí, y eso es lo que busco. HELLO?
• Si tu estas buscando del Señor, sirviendo a Jesús, entonces puedes poner el resto en manejo automático... pon tu expectativa de la fidelidad de Dios en piloto automático…Dios limpiará el camino y Él se mostrará fiel. Pero si tu estas viviendo apartado de Cristo Jesús, y desafiando El Espíritu de Dios en tu vida, a ti te digo con certeza que hay desastre delante de ti, y cuando choques, como a muchos sucede, no le echen la culpa a Dios. El no te ha rechazado, ni negado, tu eres el que lo ha negado y rechazado. Como es que puedo estar tan seguro, porque en Jesús ahí es donde están la promesas de Dios, siempre “si”, siempre “ Amen”, y siempre para la gloria de Dios a través de nosotros…
• ¿Y porque es esto? Un nivel mas de entendimiento para esto… ES EL NIVEL DE JEFE!! Si tu observas a todas las promesas de dios…todas las promesas están en el Antiguo Testamento, todas tienen esto “Si” agregadas a ellas. Y déjame darte un ejemplo.

Proverbios 2:1-5…  Hijo mío, si recibes mis palabras
y guardas en ti mis mandamientos,
 haciendo estar atento tu oído a la sabiduría;
si inclinas tu corazón a la prudencia,
 si invocas a la inteligencia
y pides que la prudencia te asista;
si la buscas como si fuera plata
y la examinas como a un tesoro,
 entonces entenderás el temor de Jehová
y hallarás el conocimiento de Dios.

El Antiguo Testamento esta lleno de estas promesas condicionales de Dios, y si las condiciones aún están ahí… solo que ahora la condición es “SI tu recibes a Cristo Jesús, SI confías en EL, Si lo sigues, Si lo buscas… todas estas cosas están envueltas en la Persona de Jesús. Jesús ha cumplido todos los “Si” en el lugar de nosotros para que nosotros podamos recibir todas las promesas de Dios. Y la ultima cosa que digo en esto es…una vez que hayas aprendido esto, cada pasaje de la escritura cambia un poquito en tu entendimiento. Las cosas empiezan a ser más claras y una de esas es Colosenses 1:26-28

• el misterio que había estado oculto desde los siglos y edades, pero que ahora ha sido manifestado a sus santos. A ellos, Dios quiso dar a conocer las riquezas de la gloria de este misterio entre los gentiles, (Eso ahí, es la revelación de las riquezas de la gloria de Dios…la entrega de cada promesa de Dios) que es Cristo en vosotros, esperanza de gloria. Nosotros anunciamos a Cristo, amonestando a todo hombre y enseñando a todo hombre en toda sabiduría, a fin de presentar perfecto en Cristo Jesús a todo hombre. ¿Dónde es donde la persona se realiza en totalidad, donde se hace completa en su corazón?... en la caja donde cambiara su ticket de lotería!? ¿En el Altar casándose con la persona de sus sueños? ¿En la Junta de Oficina donde le dieron un puesto más alto y un aumento? ¡No! ¡En Chik-Fil_A comprado su sándwich de pollo el Domingo…tal vez! ¡Jajá! ¡Únicamente en Jesús! Nada en este mundo satisface…
• Una ocasión esta en el Aeropuerto, y escuche a un caballero ya mayor de edad hablando en el teléfono y dijo “En toda mi carrera, solo he dejado pasar una llamada de ventas…” y pensé, que triste… no quiero que sea ese el legado que dejo. Mejor quiero decir “ deje pasar muchas llamadas de venta por mi familia, por el ministerio… realmente cuando experimente eso afecto mi vida…leí esto esta semana y me resuena tanto, “ si eres dadivoso, aprende tus limites, porque los que quitan no tienen ninguno…” entrégate a este mundo y conoce al mejor tomador de las cosas…pero Jesús, El es el Mejor Dador sin límites… entrégate a El y encuentra el misterio que Dios a escondido en Cristo Jesús… que en El fuimos creados completos, y en totalidad, presentados ante Dios en perfección y destinatarios de cada una de sus promesas…IN CRISTO JESUS.

2 Cor. Capítulo 1 Versos 21-22

• Cuatro cosas que Dios ha hecho pro me y que yo no puedo hacer ni podría hacer por mi mismo. El me ha Establecido en Cristo. Me hizo firme. Me puso ahí, y me pego con super Resistol para colocarme como un ciudadano del Cielo. ¡Él me ha y nos ha ungido …nos ha consagrado… nos ha equipado con el poder y energía necesaria para la administración del cielo aquí en la tierra… nos ha entregado los dones del Espíritu Santo! Él me ha Sellado. El sello de propiedad y de acción de cierre para lo bueno. Y nos ha dado a ti y a mí el Espíritu en nuestros corazones para que se paren conmigo en todo momento y me recuerden lo que Dios ha hecho. Pablo le llama a eso garantía. ¿Qué significa eso? ¡¡Yo ya tengo el título de mi casa móvil en el cielo!!
• El enganche mas ferviente de dinero de vida eterna para cada ciudadano del cielo…El sello de Dios Mismo el cual ni un hombre, ni una mujer, ningún pecado, ningún error tiene el poder de romper el sello que Dios Mismo hizo, y que Él es Dios Mismo.

Este sello habla de equipaje. En esos tiempos no había reclamo de equipaje, ni tampoco etiquetas para maletas. El dueño de las maletas colocaba un sello en sus pertenencias y usaban ese sello para recogerlo en su lugar de destino… Dios a colocado Su sello en ti Cristiano! Y la presencia del Espíritu Santo en tu Corazón, en tu mente y en tu vida de be de ser un recordatorio constante de la garantía de Salvación, perdón, y vida eterna asegurada para ti En Cristo Jesús. 

 2 Cor. Capitulo 1 Versos 23-24

• ¿Quién tiene dominio sobre tu Fe? Tú lo tienes… Pablo no puede reclamar o señalar esto en las vidas de las personas…Pablo solo reclama por su propia vida y su trabajo es observar a su alrededor…y trabajar por el gozo y fe de otros. Para algunos parecerá o sentirán que estamos tratando de tomar dominio sobre su fe…decirles que hacer, talvez hasta como pensar…pero no se trata de ser el jefe… sino se trata de dirigir, guiar, llevar, en ocasiones empujar a hombres y mujeres hacia Cristo… para que ellos puedan pararse firmes.
• ¿Por qué? Es porque ese es el templo ahora. El tabernáculo ahora. ¡Es el lugar donde se unen Dios y el Hombre…ahí es donde las promesas de Dios son cambiadas de “SI” a Si! Es donde tu y yo somos hechos completos, completos como personas…y cuando tomamos la jornada de la vida con Jesús como Salvador, Amigo y Señor Fiel…cuando vives por Fe en El únicamente…En EL, lleno de gozo, ahí es donde estamos parados. En EL.
